The home is also the center of the client’s social circle – it is the perfect setting for all occasions, for as one walks through the space, it is almost as if the walls recede into oblivion to make way for what lies within – eclectic tchotchkes, glimmers of verdure and seas of indigo.
The interiors are an artful balance of muted palettes, natural textures, and curated details
Nestled in the heart of Mumbai at Lotus Enpar, Niraamaya is a thoughtfully designed 1800 sq. ft. residence that redefines urban living with its tranquil elegance and understated luxury. The home was conceptualized to fulfill the unique brief of a family of three who sought simplicity over convention. With a deliberate reduction from three bedrooms to two, the design prioritizes openness, functionality, and an abundance of natural light, creating a space that truly feels like home.
The open-plan living and dining area is a harmonious blend of mid-century modern furniture, carefully placed accents, and indoor greenery, fostering an inviting and relaxed atmosphere.
With its seamless blend of sophistication, functionality, and calm, Niraamaya reflects the design studio’s ethos of crafting spaces that feel personal, timeless, and profoundly livable.
Every corner of the home tells a story of sophistication and thoughtful design. The son’s bedroom, for instance, evokes calm with botanical murals and soft blue hues, balanced by striking black veneer elements. Meanwhile, the master bedroom exudes warmth with golden tones, earthy wooden elements, and a custom-designed headboard featuring a stone mosaic. Brown Kota flooring and walnut veneer complete the room, offering a seamless mix of comfort and understated luxury.
The kitchen showcases a fresh take on practicality, with a unique yellow backsplash, wooden cabinetry, and modern finishes. A standout feature is the use of toughened glass for countertops, which lends a sense of airiness while maintaining durability. The bathrooms, too, reflect the home’s serene aesthetic—whether it’s the dramatic powder room with earthy tones or the botanical-themed bathroom with tropical patterns, each space highlights natural materials like marble and wood.
