Neither Noir is a home that perfectly reflects the contrasting personalities of its inhabitants, blending stark opposites into a unified design that speaks to both individuality and harmony. From the very beginning, the design journey was rooted in the idea of creating a space where differences could coexist seamlessly. The space embraces a bold black and white color palette, symbolizing the distinct energies of the family, while rich brass accents add warmth and vibrancy. The concept evolved around the idea of duality, with the black and white tones representing strength and clarity, while the brass highlights symbolize the youthful energy of the younger generation. Every design decision was carefully made to create a harmonious balance that would feel modern yet timeless, luxurious yet practical.

In the material selection, we experimented with a combination of sophisticated, opulent elements. White Italian marble was chosen for its timeless elegance and light-reflecting qualities, enhancing the sense of space and openness. Custom-made Italian furniture was crafted specifically for the home, ensuring that each piece complemented the design's ethos while remaining functional. Brass detailing, woven wallpapers, and custom furnishings were integrated into the design, creating a space that feels dynamic and full of character. Concealed storage and multifunctional furniture were key to making the most of every inch of space in this Mumbai apartment, ensuring the home felt open, inviting, and highly efficient.

The challenge, however, was to ensure that every inch of the space was used effectively, which required creative solutions like hidden storage and flexible furniture. This was especially important in a city like Mumbai, where space is limited.

Neither Noir stands as a true reflection of its inhabitants—a space where opposites attract and form something extraordinary, timeless, and full of heart.

The living room was one of the most enjoyable spaces to design, as it allowed for a true expression of contrast—where bold black and white tones are complemented by the warm brass accents, and multifunctional furniture brings the entire space together in perfect balance. The challenge, however, was to ensure that every inch of the space was used effectively, which required creative solutions like hidden storage and flexible furniture. This was especially important in a city like Mumbai, where space is limited. The result is a home that not only maximizes functionality but also exudes elegance, warmth, and a modern sensibility.
